Avoid Bygghemma!
When they finally deliver and nothing breaks, they are okay. I have ordered from them at least 20-40 times over the years.
Recently, I ordered lawn fertilizer that they ordered directly from Xeed and for 100 kr cheaper than Xeed themselves. Okay, I ordered two different kinds of fertilizer but one was out of stock due to a “stock balance error.” I replied that I wanted another type instead, but before they responded 3 days later, they had already shipped one bag, and I had to place a new order. (New handling fee, so I declined)
Otherwise, they once delivered 20 items for a bathroom renovation. The vanity was damaged, but they sent a new one within 5 days. I got to keep the damaged one where, among other things, the doors were intact, so I have them as a reserve now. The mixer fixture never came, so I called the manufacturer directly, who helped me the same day. Bygghemma got back to me after 3 days and informed me they were waiting for a response from the supplier 😅
The grill from Broil King that I had various problems with took 6 months to resolve with a report to ARN. Then it took 2-6 weeks between email responses where they wanted pictures of pictures. Then suddenly videos, and so on. When ARN finally contacted them, they got moving. I received a lot of spare parts in the mail and half of the purchase amount back. Of course, I had to keep pushing for the promised compensation. “We have paid out” No, you haven’t. “We double check with finance... oh, there was an error, so now it should come” no, it didn’t. “Oh, sorry, finance will call you directly and make an immediate direct payment” Now the money came!! (2-3 working days later.. )
It's their customer service that is so incredibly poor towards customers. But probably also towards the suppliers they order directly from. I assume they are fed up with them, but considering the large volumes they purchase, they have to keep them.

There are several reasons to buy building materials through craftsmen... 😎Sertac Karabas said:
My experience with Bygghemma has been extremely frustrating and far from acceptable. I ordered an exterior door, sidelights, and a Yale lock for my villa, which is currently being completely renovated. The order was placed on April 21, 2024, and although the Yale lock was delivered without issues, serious problems arose with the rest of the delivery.
First of all, I found out that the exterior door had been damaged during transportation. This was after countless calls and transfers to various departments when I tried to find out where my door was, as the carpenters on-site needed it. The transport company DSV informed me that the door had broken (PS I don't understand how one can break a damn exterior door) and I was referred back to Bygghemma for more information.
Despite several attempts to contact Bygghemma via both phone and email, I received unclear responses with email feedback having at least a 4-5 day delay. This is completely unreasonable. On May 19, nearly a month later, I was informed that the sidelights I had purchased were out of stock with an unclear delivery date. I was offered a refund or to accept the damaged product with a small compensation, but there is still no explanation of how this "minor damage" is and I'm not getting any feedback.
The construction workers are on-site and cannot finish the front...
In summary, this experience with Bygghemma has been the worst I have ever had with any retailer. The customer service is subpar, with unacceptably long response times. I absolutely do not recommend Bygghemma. If you are considering buying building materials, I advise you to turn to Bauhaus instead, where customer service is reliable and you at least get the support you need.
Already sounds bad from the name as I assume English is referred to when "shop" is includedB Bästerortarn said:Yes and no, it's Bygghemma who chose the carrier and despite recurring complaints about messy deliveries, delivery damages, etc., over the past 5 years, Bygghemma continues to use DSV so ...... And since the contract is with Bygghemma (not DSV), it is perfectly in order to "piss" 😄 on Bygghemma.
Personally, I think it's more stupid not to understand an entire post and get hung up on details. My purchase from Badshop, which is another front for Bygghemma, was first significantly delayed and Badshop flat-out refused to help me try to redirect the delivery to a neighbor, so I had to nag the carrier myself to make an exception and deliver the goods to the neighbor. The fact that I succeeded was probably mostly because in the countryside everyone knows each other ......
Of two products divided into three packages, two packages were badly mangled by DSV, but fortunately, the manufacturers packed them very well, so it was no danger.
Regarding Bygghemma, as I said, they are fairly infamous for delivery mess-ups and being very difficult to get hold of and deal with, just like many other companies within the BHG Group. They have simply made it a business idea to sell cheaply and if/when things go wrong, to try to wear out the customer until they give up.
In addition to my own experiences, I have heard from my surroundings everything from bad to directly catastrophic reviews about an estimated 7-8 different companies within BHG's various groups. And the problems are roughly the same. Additionally, Bygghemma appears several times on Råd&Rön's blacklist.
My experience with Bygghemma is the same, no more orders from there for me.
I have ordered from bygghemma 5 times, both larger and smaller deliveries.
Everything has gone smoothly and been delivered on time.
I believe it was Postnord that delivered every time except when I ordered wardrobe doors, maybe it was another company that delivered.

As mentioned, Bygghemma relies on dropshipping and is thus dependent on various suppliers fulfilling their tasks. Also, if I recall correctly, it is the same corporate group/management as Outl1. The difference is that Outl1 claims to have stock, which is not always true as you may have to wait 3 months for items to arrive from China.
Bygghemma group has loads of threads online about how bad they are. People seem to think "it doesn't apply to me."Sertac Karabas said:

And then we get another thread.
Already 4 years ago, a friend of mine bought a ride-on lawnmower via BHG and it came with the cutting unit incorrectly assembled and a broken battery. It took them a month to even respond to his case. But he got at least a new battery when he went to their "store" in Sollentuna. But everything that was misassembled he had to fix himself.
But as said. If you had googled Bygghemma you would have found existing threads and already realized they were bad.
@Sertac Karabas Admit that you chose Bygghemma because they were the cheapest
There are times when it's good to have contact with local hardware stores (which are not as much more expensive as you might think).
If you write like that, I know why they're not responding to youM Myckling said:Doors and Bygghemma/DSV seem popular. Below is one of all my emails to Bygghemma after I ordered interior doors:

I still haven't received any feedback on this! I am now so tired of this case and of having doors lying in the living room. I'll soon throw them out on the sidewalk so you can pick them up whenever you want and buy doors elsewhere.
In general, that's exactly how it is. Even the most worthless companies are good when they succeed.J JoE1090 said:Over the past 3 years, I have spent six-figure amounts at Bygghemma, and it has worked very well except for one case where they messed up significantly. A good person in customer service solved it, though. If I'm not mistaken, Bygghemma is owned by Beijer, which I avoid because their prices are often pure extortion. Otherwise, Hornbach is my absolute first choice.
You really see how good a company is when problems arise.
Bygghemma has awful customer service, is like a non-stick pan.Sertac Karabas said:

I think that despite the problems, it has worked well to shop from them. Completely okay service and help when something went wrong.

Join the chorus: Avoid bygghemma!
Placed an order two weeks ago with building materials that were in stock "delivery time 2-5 days" and was well in advance. Then I didn't think more about it. As I'm supposed to build this weekend, I wondered why I haven't received a delivery notification, it has been two weeks. Note, order confirmation is sent and the order is already paid.
I go to "my pages" - the order is not there. Call customer service. The order is not there. "Something must have gone wrong with the technology, they updated the platform a while ago, it might have happened then, says customer service." UHHH Ok, thanks.
Orders disappearing into thin air might have been acceptable in 1999 but hardly today, right! Really unbelievable actually. Orders disappearing in the system is like the most serious thing that can happen. Don't they test properly before updates or have they had some system crash? Who knows, but regardless it's strange that they don't have processes that catch this, and inform the customer. Seems like Avensia built their platform...
The staff member says they will "cancel the order" and refund it. OK OK. I say, but place a new order then. "No, we can't, you have to go in and place a new order yourself." BUT WHAT THE H-LL.
Bygghemma rating: 1/10.

As said, don't expect them to refund, you will have to nag. Or if you paid with a credit card, dispute directly with the credit card company. That's how you'll get your money back. And bygghemma will have to deal with the credit card company.maskeradeproggaren said:
