Bought a vadsbo udn100 universal push dimmer that I had intended to plug in behind a two switch is for two different lamps (see attached pictures). I want to use this dimmer for one lamp.
Would be appreciated if someone could give me advice and maybe fill in my picture!
Thanks

Please see the installation instruction and describe how you think it shall be connected and we will check. I do not want to give you instructions on what wire to put where since you don't learn anything from that and you need to understand what you are doing when dealing with 230 V.
The instruction says there is no need for neutral wire.

Basically you need to splice the phase cable (L) coming to the existing switch (L terminal) and connect a new wire to one of the L terminals on the dimmer.
Grey or black cable removed from switch and connect to "wave terminal". New cable from output of the switch to S terminal on dimmer.

I do understand the current circuit. But I don't know what are the black and grey wires. Also, I am not sure if it's a single way or double way switch. Since we don't have all lamps in the house. But the one I want to add dimmer to it, is a single way switch for the living room.

If you do not understand what the black and grey wires are you do not understand the circuit.
Please draw how you think it should be, after understanding what you have and what you want (electrically).

There's a lot to support the assumption that blue is neutral, brown live and green/yellow is earth. With the usual caveats regarding assumptions.
But it would be a stupid idea to connect L2 and L3 to L1 through a switch, and it would only be able to turn off the lights. Once.
No room for guessing in this game.
You really need to see the diagram before you, when you do things will be easy.

Where can I find the diagram or how should I draw it if I dont have it?A alfista skrev:There's a lot to support the assumption that blue is neutral, brown live and green/yellow is earth. With the usual caveats regarding assumptions.

You'll find a diagram in the manual of the dimmer but you also need to understand how a basic lighting circuit works.
I don't have any good english language references off the top of my head but if you google "basic household electrical circuits" you'll probably get something useful.

I do understand little basics. Here is the manual for the dimmer

its without the neutral

How can I check the current function of grey and black ?tommib skrev:
You said you understand the current circuit...
What do you think they do? How is a normal light circuit wired? If you don't grasp this you should really consider calling an electrician.
Look at the circuit breaker. There is a drawing on the back. What does it show? What do you think it means?
Here is a link for you. It's about basic house wiring in the UK. Their system is a bit different but the section on lighting is sufficiently similar that you hopefully will grasp the concept.
